We went shopping on Black Friday at St. Louis Mills in Hazelwood. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. *chuckle* I appreciate my hubby taking me and the DOD because he is NOT a shopper. He offered to do it because I had no one to shop with, as I usually would were I back home in Cali. And even when we lived in Washington my folks came out during the holiday and we got to shop there as well. If you ever plan on doing some serious shopping, don't shop in these
and if you plan on being out for awhile you may want to leave THEM
at home. *chuckle* While I truly love being with my family, it's not always easy to go in all the stores you want cuz well you dealing with 4 other different people. All in all, I think the girls had fun and I did too. My Hunny even tried to get in on the fun and buy a few things for himself as well.
I think the best part for the girls was riding on those little coin operated rides. We stayed in that area for at least an hour - which I was grateful for cuz my dayum feet were on FIRE. We had about $20.00 worth of quarters specifically for them to ride. They loved it!
And I had to rest cuz I couldn't walk anymore. Asaria was trying to get in on the action by crawling around on the floor, but you know we couldn't allow that. So she was stuck with mommy.
My Hunny didn't take pics in every store we ventured into cuz Queen Asaria felt the need for her mobile baby coach to be pushed at ALL TIMES, thus no stopping for Daddy and snapping pics. He was however able to snap a few pics in Carters where they have all sorts of little odds and ends to keep babies happy. And of course Asaria was being held by me while Daddy took pics (and on occasion he had to take her cuz my arm was about to break off *chuckle*)

We didn't stay long cuz by the time 9pm rolled around the DOD were tired and hungry, and so was I. So after several seemingly never ending hours trying to get Missouri weather coats, boots, and clothes we were done and left with this
Asaria still needs a new car seat and there are some other things that we need to get, like pots. And a new t.v. for the DOD because baby Asaria decided to stuff about 5 dvds into the player - all at once, thus the dvd portion doesn't work anymore. And of course I want to take advantage of the soon to be closed Linens n Things in Clayton so that I can stock up on new sheets and other household items.
We'll see if I'm ready to brave yet another week-end shopping expedition with the Daughters of Destiny. *faints*

LOVE the boots. And I have to agree that those are NOT the ideal shopping shoes. Girl you should have had on sneakers. Lol
I've never been one to do the Black Friday thing. I don't have the patience for all the people, just too hectic for me.
Glad you were able to snag some deals. It looks like the girleys had a great time.
